Adopting a Dog
At Leader of the Pack Rescue, we understand that bringing a new dog into your home is one of the most exciting, gratifying, and rewarding steps you can take in life. We realize too that it is also a huge commitment: you are vowing to care for a living creature for a long span of time.

Because finding the right dog is so important for the well-being and happiness of two- and four-legged members of the household, we at LOTPR go the extra step to ensure that the dog you select really is what you are looking and hoping for. Let us help you find the perfect canine companion!

The Adoption Process

Once you’ve identified a dog that you would like to learn more about, contact us at LOTRP. We will provide details about the dog and answer your questions; we can also put you in touch with the foster home. If the dog sounds like it would fit in your home, we can send you a video so that you can see it in action. ("A picture is worth a thousand words.")

​If you have specific needs or requests about the dog you are looking to bring into your home and life, give us a call. We specialize in match-making and will put the time and thought required into seeing that your dog meets your expectations--and you, its!

​LOTRP believes in making personal connections with those looking to adopt, so we will not ask you to fill out an extensive adoption form. Instead, we will talk with you at length, ask you questions, and answer the questions you have for us. If all parties want to go ahead with the adoption, by the time the Agreement is signed, all of us will have learned a great deal about each other.
