Hannah the pit bull
This little pit bull was left in the shelter after all her litter-mates were rescued. Black dogs are the first to be put down in the South. We brought her North to her forever loving family.
Plane dogs adoption
The owner of these dogs died, leaving them nowhere to go. Their fortunes changed…they were adopted by a couple who flies them regularly to their second home.
Savannah adoption
This girl came from a Georgia high-kill shelter. She now participates in the Pets for Veterans program. Here she is, a graduate and has her companion vet.

Leader of the Rescue Pack is located in Rowayton, Connecticut, and works with various rescues in Connecticut, North Carolina, Georgia and Texas. The founder of The Leader of the Rescue Pack, Jennifer Gordon, also works locally, helping people re-home their dogs and occasionally takes at risk dogs out of a local shelters to help them find their perfect forever homes.

Leader of the Rescue Pack is a registered 501-(c)(3) and is fully compliant with Connecticut state laws regarding transfer of dogs into the state.
